Whey Powder

Whey is the liquid that remains after the separation of casein and fat as curd during cheese making using rennet, the composition of which varies depending on the type of cheese and making technique. Whey is a precious water with high nutritional value, rich in milk sugar lactose and serum proteins. Whey powder is obtained by pulverizing the liquid obtained by filtration from the precipitate during cheese formation by heat treatments. 50% Demineralized and 70% Demineralized Whey powder are produced.
